The practice-integrated degree course in Civil and Environmental Engineering combines the discipline of civil engineering with environmental engineering. You will get to know the world of construction in all its facets and also deal with the issues of environmental protection and sustainability.
The theoretical units at the university are ideally complemented by practical phases during the lecture-free period.
Theory phase
- You will learn the basics of mathematics, building physics and building materials science
- You will acquire comprehensive specialist knowledge in your field, in project management and in order processing
- You will also deal with topics such as business administration, law, surveying technology
Practical phase
- You will be deployed in various areas of work in your specialist field
- You will be involved in construction projects – e.g. construction costing, construction supervision and project management
- You will gain insights into exciting project management tasks across all phases of the construction project
