The town of Burgdorf has decided to build a new municipal building yard on a site on the outskirts of the town through a total takeover.
In addition to the planning and construction services, the scope of services also includes maintenance for the period of extended liability for defects and the energy network between the new building yard and the existing sewage treatment plant.
The new building yard includes an office and administration area, a social and recreation area, various workshops and warehouses, vehicle halls and extensive storage areas in the outdoor facilities.
Die Architektur
The arrangement of the buildings and open spaces was based on the traffic flows on the site and the necessary distance between buildings so that they can be accessed by cars, trucks and special vehicles.
The main building with administration, social rooms and workshop is thus easily accessible for employees and customers via the parking lot on Dachtmisser Weg and thus forms the representative entrance to the new building yard, both from the direction of the B188 and from the town of Burgdorf.
A covered balcony with a view of the building yard is located in front of the lounge on the upper floor.
The building is complemented by the vehicle workshop with associated storage rooms. The main building will be constructed with a façade of double-skin, two-tone facing brickwork and anthracite-colored façade panels. The two vehicle halls for the company vehicles are arranged parallel to the main building in two building blocks and are planned as a lightweight steel skeleton and a building envelope made of sandwich insulation panels or trapezoidal steel sheets with a metallic surface.
Roofs with storage areas for winter service and barrier materials as well as for the vehicles of the winter service and two vehicle washing areas and a washing trough are positioned in the eastern part of the property. Next to it are the silo facilities, which can be driven under by trucks for filling grit.
Das Energie- und Nachhaltigkeitskonzept
An energy concept was developed for the energy supply, which provides for the supply of the new building yard together with the neighboring sewage treatment plant in an energy network.
The energy concept includes a combination of a new sewage gas CHP unit, an existing gas condensing boiler and a new wood chip system to supply heat and electricity to the building yard and sewage treatment plant. In addition, a photovoltaic system with 326 kWp will be installed on the buildings of the building yard.
By using the return flow from the high-temperature ranges for the low-temperature ranges, the efficiency of the heat generators could be further optimized. The office and administration building will be constructed as an efficiency building 40 and will be equipped with a ventilation system with heat recovery.
