Southern flair on the northern shore of a Dortmund lake: 11 lakeside villas in a prime location form an elegant ensemble in a new residential quarter. Here, Depenbrock Bau implemented a customized urban planning design as general contractor.
Die Architektur
Particular attention was paid to the visual relationship of all the southwest-facing houses with generous window fronts, terraces and balconies to the lake. Mediterranean-style courtyard with spacious balconies and terraces. The staggered arrangement of the individual houses allows for varied perspectives of the lake panorama and the surrounding area.
Das Energie- und Gebäudekonzept
The demanding geometry posed quite a challenge both in masonry construction with plan elements and in reinforced concrete construction. It had to be ensured from a structural engineering point of view that all of the terrain offsets in the approx. 170 m long underground garage under the buildings were invisibly compensated for from the outside. The design also envisaged connecting the buildings with partial basements and making them completely barrier-free. Access to the houses is via an underground garage with 112 parking spaces.
