Fürth Care Center retirement home

Centrally located in the popular district of Poppenreuth-Espan, the modern facility with a total of 156 fully inpatient care places, 36 barrier-free assisted living apartments for senior citizens and a day care facility was completed and handed over to the operator in November 2017. Conceptually, the care places are divided into smaller residential groups with their own communal area with kitchen. A geriatric psychiatric residential group for 20 residents is located on the first floor. The spacious south-facing garden also offers a sheltered area especially for this residential group.

The “Care Center Fürth” is the first facility of its kind in Fürth to meet the current requirements of the Bavarian Care and Housing Quality Act as well as the structural standards for accessibility in accordance with DIN18040 and closes a long-standing gap in care provision in the north-eastern part of the city.
