International School Hamburg

Turnkey construction of a private all-day school with a sports hall that meets international competition standards for children from the age of three to the twelfth grade. Around 700 pupils from 45 nations are taught here according to international standards. The classrooms are state of the art. Smartboards are replacing conventional blackboards, and science classrooms are equipped with modern laboratory technology and extraction systems. Thanks to data cabling, pupils can use the Internet in every room. The school operates as an all-day school, which is why a cafeteria with a fully equipped kitchen was built. A professional canteen kitchen with appropriate ventilation and modern waste water disposal system was created. As a result of the growing number of pupils at the international school, the existing school building was extended by a wing with 12 classrooms as well as office and group rooms and an additional sports hall. The design of the façade followed the existing building, as a clinker brick façade in light red clinker brick with a recurring rhythm of perforated windows and closed wall surfaces.
