Due to the increasing demand and the new residential concept in care groups as well as the partly old existing buildings, the construction of new care homes is necessary. Depenbrock built a care property for VBW with 80 resident rooms and 12 rooms for short-term care.
Die Architektur
The concept envisages a 4-storey, L-shaped building without a basement. The building is widened in the central area. The façade consists of an ETICS, which is colored in some areas. Large balconies on all floors allow the residential groups to carry out activities directly outdoors. A large, fenced-in garden adjoins the nursing home.
Das Energie- und Gebäudekonzept
The retirement home was built in accordance with EnEV 2014 (tightened in 2016).
