Thanks to its exemplary concept, it achieves the points required for LEED Gold certification. Included: Energy component activation by heating/cooling the concrete ceilings using a pipe system, minimized primary energy requirements with maximum thermal and air-hygienic comfort, compliance with the German Energy Saving Ordinance EnEV 2009, consistent recycling of construction and demolition materials, use of environmentally friendly, regional building materials and innovative technology, as well as roof water collection for green space irrigation. The building houses offices and administrative offices, a kindergarten and a daycare center as well as catering facilities. The inner courtyards are integrated into the overall concept with attractive and spacious green areas.
