Apprenticeship as a surveying technician (m/f/x)

This is what you can expect as a surveying technician:

• Staking out and measuring buildings, structures and terrain
• Checking the geodata for up-to-dateness, accuracy, completeness and comprehensibility
• Construction and presentation of geodata in plans, maps and digital terrain models
• Visualization as well as processing, management and evaluation with the help of geoinformation systems
• Carrying out exact measurements and visualizing them, taking into account various requirements
• Use of various measuring systems such as tachymeters, GPS and drone flights

As a good surveying technician, you should have the following skills:

• You have an intermediate school leaving certificate (or soon have it)
• You have an affinity for numbers and data and have a good technical understanding
• You enjoy teamwork and are dedicated to your work
• You have good spatial awareness
• You have a driver’s license

You will receive the following monthly training allowance (gross):

• 1st apprenticeship year: 930 €
• 2nd apprenticeship year: 1,108 €
• 3rd apprenticeship year: 1,348 €

Theory and practice – it’s all in the mix
You alternate between in-company training on our construction sites and the theoretical part at vocational school. This will teach you everything you need to know and do as a surveying technician.

Your exams
You will take your final examination to become a surveying technician after your 3rd year of training.
