Application process

After you have applied online, we will take a look at your documents to get a first impression of you. If we like what we see, we will invite you to an interview so that we can get to know each other better. This is the opportunity for you to get answers to all your questions about your dream job, work and future prospects at DEPENBROCK. We will also discuss the contractual conditions of your desired position together.

If you are applying for a management position, sometimes we also conduct a second interview. There you will get to know the management.

Are you applying as a machine operator? Then you can also impress us with your practical skills during a trial excavation.

Who is the contact person for my application?

The job posting for your desired position lists the name of your contact person. Our careers team answers all your general questions about your application with us.

What documents do I need to submit?

In the skilled trade segment, your CV is sufficient for an application. For salaried positions, we would also like to receive a cover letter and your most recent references.

If you are unsure or have any questions, please feel free to contact our careers team.

After I apply, when will I receive an answer?

If you apply online, we will confirm receipt of your documents immediately. After that, we will need some time to look everything over thoroughly. However, we will usually get back to you within 10 days. If it’s likely to take longer, we will let you know in advance.

How well do I have to be able to speak German?

The ability to speak German is not required in the skilled trade segment. We will be happy to support you with language schools if required. We can also assign you to construction sites where colleagues who speak your native language work to make your start with us easier.

In the commercial and technical field, you should have at least language level C1.

Can I apply for several jobs?

Sure! If you are interested in several of our vacancies, you can apply for up to 3 positions at the same time. A single application is enough for us in that case. Just let us know which positions you are interested in – and feel free to rank your preferences in advance.

What about data privacy?

We treat every application as strictly confidential. Your documents will only be reviewed internally as part of our selection process. No one outside DEPENBROCK will know that you have applied for a job with us.
Of course, we ensure that the statutory data protection regulations are strictly adhered to at all times.
