Main channel Sterkrade

In the third construction phase, the task was to replace the open ditch in the wastewater area with an underground frame sewer (HK Sterkrade). A combined structure was built for intermediate construction stages and to connect the final rainwater drain, as well as a crossing structure for the drainage connections from Leuthenstrasse. The SKU control structure plays a central role in regulating the flow rates and controlling the inflow into the stormwater retention basin.
