Media lines are important instruments of an efficient infrastructure. Their function as supply lines ranges from energy supply and use as data and control lines to ventilation pipes and gas lines as well as fire alarm systems. In Bremen, Depenbrock is building media junctions 1 to 5 on the A281.
In the fourth construction phase, particularly on the northern side of the Weser, there are a large number of media lines in the route area that have to be laid in advance for the construction of the highway. For this purpose, the supply and disposal lines are combined in five so-called media crossings. They are to be constructed as deep-founded reinforced concrete slabs on which the media lines are supported in protective pipes. The subject of the contract for Depenbrock Tiefbau, Hatten site, is the construction of the deep foundation, the head slabs and the laying of protective pipes on the head slabs and in the adjacent areas. The construction work includes general civil engineering, sewer construction and reinforced concrete construction, the latter carried out by Wilhelm Becker, Minden.
All steps of the complex construction process are carried out in close coordination with the client. As part of the contractually agreed planning process, the Depenbrock specialists were involved in the technical processing of the full displacement piles.
