Together for an infrastructure that sets a precedent!
The investment backlog in public infrastructure poses major challenges for many municipalities. Schools and educational institutions are an important building block that directly influences the future viability and competitiveness of our society. And how can future-oriented educational facilities be realized quickly and economically?
Despite the time pressure, limited funds and scarce personnel resources on the part of the public sector? We are convinced that it will only work in close partnership with the cities and municipalities. Our experience from more than 40 successfully completed school construction projects shows us this. We would like to briefly outline what such a partnership can look like in this blog.
Because every school construction project, every location and every municipality has its own needs and requirements, we offer different forms of cooperation. Always with the necessary mix of individuality and standardization. For needs-based educational facilities with a future and planning security for clients:
- Our partners and we often rely on public-private partnerships (PPP), in which we support planning, construction and maintenance, as well as financing and operation if required. The public sector always remains the owner.
- The models in which we act as a total contractor for local authorities are also tried and tested. Here we take on the entire planning and construction responsibility, bear the risk and guarantee a completion date. For projects in which we act as a so-called total contractor plus, we also take on the financing.
What all models have in common is that they are based on partnership-based cooperation, consider the projects over their entire life cycle and there is only one point of contact for the public client.
