Dual study programme in Energy & Building Technology

Here’s what you can expect from your theoretical instruction:

• You will learn the basics of mathematics, chemistry and materials science
• You will acquire comprehensive specialist knowledge, either in building technology: building, control and regulation technology, heat transfer, energy building assessment, etc., or in energy technology: gas networks, heat transfer, combustion technology, etc.
• You will also deal with topics such as construction law or business administration and interdisciplinary energy technology

Here’s what to expect in your practical training:

• You will be deployed in various areas of work in the field of technical building equipment
• You will be involved in the planning of technical building equipment – for turnkey construction projects, for example
• You will gain insights into the exciting work of technical building equipment and can admire the finished project at the end

You should bring the following with you for a dual study programme with us:

• You have an advanced technical college entrance qualification or school leaving certificate (Abitur) – or will have one soon
• You have manual dexterity and good technical understanding
• You enjoy teamwork and have a structured approach to work
• Your are friendly and communicative
• You are resilient and have stamina
• You have at least language level C1

You will receive the following monthly training allowance (gross):

1. 1st apprenticeship year: 935 €
2. 2nd apprenticeship year: 1,230 €
3. 3rd apprenticeship year: 1,495 €
4. 4th apprenticeship year: 1,580 €

The training period is 4 years. Your university studies will be closely linked to your practical work experience in our company. This gives you the opportunity to directly apply the knowledge you have acquired.
