Klinikum Lippe GmbH is investing in extensive measures to expand the Detmold site. Depenbrock Bau was commissioned with the civil engineering work for the construction of an extension.

The tender specified slope stabilization with shotcrete nail walls. It is one of the most economical methods for securing excavations and terrain. In this method, the slope and excavation wall surfaces are secured with reinforcement mats and shotcrete application. With nailed shotcrete walls, the load-bearing capacity of the existing floor is improved by nails. This construction technique can be used in almost all types of soil – both cohesive and non-cohesive. It is vibration-free, low-noise and therefore an extremely environmentally friendly option. At the same time, it offers a high degree of adaptability to the terrain and building layouts.
