Frankfurt Main Airport intended to build a new airport in the area east of Frankfurt. the 2nd construction phase of the existing fire station 3 to realize approx. 6 ha of apron areas for general aviation.

The existing apron built in the 1st construction phase was extended to the southwest. The new taxiway will be connected to the existing taxiway Y5, which runs in a north-south direction. The new apron area and taxiway were built using standardized concrete construction methods, while the shoulders of the taxiway and an adjacent parking area to the east were built using asphalt construction methods. The supply and disposal infrastructure (service water, cable pipe system, rainwater) had to be expanded accordingly.

The tender included the necessary civil engineering and marking work as well as the erection of fencing. The construction work was mainly carried out during the day.
