The DEPENBROCK Group honours jubilarians and retirees
Great commitment and perseverance demonstrated
Stemwede/Stemshorn:
At a ceremony in Stemshorn, Karl-Heinrich Depenbrock, Managing Partner of Depenbrock Bau of Stemwede, honoured employees celebrating service anniversary milestones and soon-to-be retirees. He emphasized their loyalty and commitment to Depenbrock and its subsidiaries. He thanked everyone “for making their way here at the end of a very successful year of work that has demanded a lot from all of us.” The longest distance was travelled by a retiree from the Berlin area. “In these fast-moving times, many things no longer last the way they used to,” said Depenbrock. This certainly also applies to professional life.
“Employment relationships that continue for many years and decades are becoming increasingly rare. So we’re all the more pleased to buck this trend too and celebrate many colleagues’ 10, 25 or 30 years of service or employment with us.” In addition, we bid farewell to four employees who are taking their well-earned retirement – employees “who have also remained loyal to our company for many years,” emphasized Karl-Heinrich Depenbrock. To all the new retirees and to those celebrating service anniversary milestones, he expressed his thanks and appreciation for their many years of successful collaboration: such anniversaries are more than just an expression of the broad life experience and professional know-how that they bring to the accomplishment of their tasks: they also represent an important milestone in their professional lives, which deserves a very special honour and appreciation.
Depenbrock also thanked everyone for their performance in day-to-day business, for their loyalty, and not least for their personal commitment. Perseverance is an unmistakable sign of loyalty – a virtue that is often ridiculed today, but which will always remain essential for cooperation on an equal footing. Depenbrock emphasized that the employees are the company’s greatest and strongest asset: “It is through them, through the daily personal commitment of each individual, that our company gains its substance. A good, solid substance that equips our now 95-year-old company ideally for the future.” The fourth Depenbrock generation is passionate about the company and has long been involved with a high level of responsibility. The Managing Partner added: “Over the years, the steamship has picked up speed, maintained a clear course, and repeatedly headed for new ports in the world of construction in keeping with the motto ‘Preserve the tried-and-tested and make proactive use of the new.'”
“We didn’t succeed in everything, but we made steady progress.”
