Optimization as a construction-accompanying process has a high priority in the Depenbrock spectrum and offers clients tangible benefits.
For the development of the 21.3 ha Beimoor-Süd II industrial estate in Ahrensburg, Depenbrock Bau proposed soil stabilization instead of soil replacement for some areas. The recycling of the soils – sand, clay and marl – resulted in considerable savings both in terms of material procurement and transportation costs. As part of the first construction phase, more than 100,000 m3 of soil will be moved, pipes will be laid over a length of approx. 5.0 km and 20,000 m2 of road surfaces will be asphalted by the end of November 2018. In order to complete this project on time, Depenbrock is working in Ahrensburg with a large contingent from its own machine park. Due to the difficult ground conditions, a standard road surface of 1.26 m was required. All the edging was made of granite stones.
