On behalf of Bielefeld-based First Retail Consult GmbH, Depenbrock Systembau in Krefeld acted as general contractor for the construction of a new retirement and nursing home with an adjoining daycare center.
In a very short construction period, the four-storey building with a staggered storey was built in accordance with EnEV 2014 specifications with the implementation of various structural solutions. Heat is generated by a gas-fired combined heat and power plant. The very short construction time of just twelve months is remarkable, which was achieved in particular by the fact that the shell was completed in just five months over the winter months.
Die Architektur
The four-storey building with a staggered storey was built in an L-shape. The main entrance with foyer and cafeteria is located at the intersection of the two wings. The first floor of one wing houses the three-group daycare center, each with three groups and dormitories, as well as the kitchen and ten adjoining rooms. The first floor of the second wing houses the multi-purpose and technical rooms, the kitchen and access to the two elevators of the retirement home. A total of 90 care places are available on the three upper floors of the entire building. The retirement home will only have single rooms and two care apartments on each floor.
Das Energie- und Gebäudekonzept
The building meets the requirements of EnEV 2014, which includes the installation of 15 cm thick mineral wool – fire protection class A1. Heat is generated by a gas-fired combined heat and power plant.
