TNT Express is one of the world’s leading providers of business-to-business express services. With the construction of the new distribution center at Hanover-Langenhagen Airport, the company created the basis for further growth. Hanover is a strategically important geographical location for TNT Express and an important hub for Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. Depenbrock Systembau built the new transshipment center with office wing in 2012 on a plot of more than 60,000 m² on a turnkey basis within seven months. Total area over three floors: 14,505 m². Prestressed concrete trusses with an impressive length of 48 m were used for the hall’s supporting structure. The installation – like the realization of the entire project – went absolutely smoothly and according to plan.
