On behalf of the state of Schleswig-Holstein, DEPENBROCK constructed three new accommodation buildings for the Eutin police department, in which the training and the riot police are housed here. Both the dimensions of the building and the high ecological standard are remarkable.
The modern, contemporary ensemble comprises three identical buildings with an impressive total gross floor area of 12,255m2. It was constructed as a reinforced concrete and masonry building with a clinker brick façade. In total, the new buildings offer space for 225 accommodation rooms.
With the new building, the client continues to consistently implement its guidelines for sustainable construction. The energy standard is 30 percent below the Energy Saving Ordinance. The combined heat and power plant installed contributes to this, as do the photovoltaic systems installed on the flat roofs, each with an output of 30 kWp. The buildings are also connected to the property’s local heating network, with the heat being distributed via underfloor heating.
Each building has its own water heating system in its technical center. Several hygienic flushing stations were installed to maintain the drinking water quality, which are monitored and controlled via the building automation system. The higher-level control is carried out with building management technology and meter reading for the energy management system via M-Bus.
