Project

The same function, fundamentally different concepts: The noise barriers erected in Buxtehude, KThe noise barriers erected in Buxtehude, Stade district, and Goch, Kleve district, are examples of the wide range of technical solutions that DEPENBROCK implements in this specialist area of construction.

The construction of the noise barrier on the new freeway bridge on the A26 motorway over a length of 1,300 m across the River Este near Buxtehude is a logistical masterpiece in itself: around 4,000m2 of aluminumwall elements , 300m2 of acrylicwall elements , 220 aluminum support panels of different sizes for each directional lane and 1,200 units of aluminum wave as design elements were installed smoothly and on schedule. On the outside, the noise protection is conveyed via an attractive wave look, while on the inside, cassettes in the form of checkerboard patterns provide the desired noise protection.

The Ostring noise protection system in Goch meets completely different requirements. The aim here was to provide effective noise protection for a newly built day nursery. At the same time, the requirement was to integrate the noise protection harmoniously into the neighborhood design and create an experience for the children.

An aerated concrete facing of different colors with the silhouette of the city of Goch and its characteristic buildings was realized. Portholes are integrated into the concrete wall elements as an experience feature for the children.

Special features

  • Deep foundation with 10 to 12 m long bored piles
  • 000m2 aluminum wall elements
  • 300m2 acrylic wall elements
  • 220 Aluminum carrier plates
  • 200 units of the aluminum wave

Very successful wave construction: the basic idea of the design is to reflect the maritime character of the region both via the bridge structure and the noise protection system.

The noise barrier was designed using highly absorbent large-area aluminum elements that were developed specifically for this purpose.
