  • Welcome to Stemwede. You will get to know our head office and other trainees from different branches. We will also introduce you to your contact person and you will receive safety training together with your personal initial and safety equipment.

Prerequisites

For an apprenticeship with us, you need at least a secondary school leaving certificate, depending on the apprenticeship.
You need a high school diploma for the dual study program.

If you decide to do an apprenticeship in the commercial sector – i.e. on a construction site – we also recommend that you do an internship with us beforehand. This will give you an idea of what to expect during your training and in your career.

Application process

Apply for your desired position
If you have found a job advertisement for an apprenticeship or dual study program that interests you, you can apply in our career portal. Simply fill out the form and upload your complete application documents. We prefer to receive applications online. This saves paper and protects the environment.

Get to know us
If your application has convinced us, we want to get to know you better. We will invite you to an interview and the operational division manager and/or the training manager will introduce DEPENBROCK to you. Get to know each other and see if you are a good fit both professionally and personally. If you are still a little unsure as to whether your dream job suits you, you can also arrange an internship so that you can get an idea of the work in advance.

Welcome on board
We understand each other well and everything fits contractually? Then all you have to do is sign and it says “Welcome to DEPENBROCK!”. We look forward to seeing you!

Application documents

Your complete application documents include a cover letter, your CV and your last two school reports. If you have already completed an internship or done voluntary work, please upload proof of this with the rest of your documents.

Application deadlines

We usually advertise vacant apprenticeships online 1 year before the apprenticeship starts in September. You will therefore find the most vacancies in our job portal between September and October. This is also a good time to apply for your desired position for next year.

Your apprenticeship usually starts on 01.08. Only in Hamburg and Bavaria will you start from 01.09. and in individual cases you can also join us at another time.

Your documents will help us to get a first impression of you. To ensure that your application has a good chance of success, you should consider the following:

Who is the contact person for my application?

You can find your contact person on the page of the job advertisement for your desired position. Our careers team can answer general questions about your application.

When will I receive an answer after I have applied?

If you apply online, we will confirm receipt of your documents immediately. After that, we need some time to look at everything in peace. However, we will usually get back to you within 10 days. If it should take longer, we will let you know in advance.

Do I have to do an internship beforehand?

No, an internship is not a prerequisite for training with us.

Do we recommend that you do an internship beforehand? Yes, if you are doing an apprenticeship in the commercial sector, definitely! Because then you will already know exactly how the work on the construction site works and what to expect.

How well do I have to be able to speak German?

As an apprentice in the commercial sector, you should have at least language level B2.

In the commercial and technical fields and for the dual study program, you should have language level C1.

How much will I earn during my training?

Depending on the area, you will earn slightly different amounts during your training.
Industrial training and dual study program

Commercial and technical training

What about data protection?

We treat every application as strictly confidential. Your documents will only be reviewed internally during the selection process. No one outside DEPENBROCK will know that you have applied for a job with us. Of course, we ensure that the statutory data protection regulations are strictly adhered to at all times.
